Thank you to Simon and Michelle for braving the elements on a cold and windy Sunday afternoon. We met up for their engagement shoot in London and despite all this recent bad weather, the sun actually shone!
Really looking forward to their wedding day in Kent in a couple of weeks time.

Tiny, adorable and remarkably calm considering he was only 4 days old and Buddy the dog was as excited, if not more than his parents.

Stormy Dover Straits

Cameras never quite do sea states justice, but there was a great storm view in Dover today to the naked eye. Ferries were still running….not sure I would have felt that great on a crossing! Big old swell out there at high tide.

Steve & Sam, Westgate Gardens, Canterbury

Really looking forward to Steve and Sam’s wedding in a couple of weeks at Westenhanger Castle. After a couple of planned days being dumped because of bad weather, we took a gamble and met up on a Tuesday evening. It paid off and was worth the wait. Westgate Gardens in Canterbury were looking amazing as always and this is what we got.

Port Richborough Towers Come Down

They have been saying its going to happen for the last 15 years, but recently the decision was finally made to make the Richborough Cooling Towers disappear forever. Roads were gridlocked as thousands headed out early on a sunny Sunday morning to see them demolished. I didn’t get quite as close as I wanted, but this is the sequence I captured.

A Family Portrait Need Not Be Dull!

Thank you so much to the extended Murray family who wanted something a bit different for their family photos. We decided to give it a three pronged attack; a family walk, trash the kitchen and a mess about in the sitting room. Getting children engaged and looking natural for a family photo is always a challenge with the time involved so we thought a cooking lesson would work with the added bonus for them that they could make as much mess as they liked!

The journey your banana, pineapple or indeed any fruit takes to get to your fruit bowl is quite an impressive one. In Kent George Hammond PLC are the guys that run Dover’s Cargo Terminal.
I have been commissioned to create film and photo footage of the work they do. It is fascinating and this is some of the work produced so far.

And here is the short demo version which we built on to create the final edit.
