A Family Portrait Need Not Be Dull!

Thank you so much to the extended Murray family who wanted something a bit different for their family photos. We decided to give it a three pronged attack; a family walk, trash the kitchen and a mess about in the sitting room. Getting children engaged and looking natural for a family photo is always a challenge with the time involved so we thought a cooking lesson would work with the added bonus for them that they could make as much mess as they liked!

James Heming has taken many photographs of my family in a variety of settings. They are always beautiful, thought provoking and never fail to unlock a memory, to make me smile or both. His talent is that those photographed forget that he is even there. Very highly recommended and a pleasure always. David Hillier

Ever wondered where your bananas come from?

The journey your banana, pineapple or indeed any fruit takes to get to your fruit bowl is quite an impressive one. In Kent George Hammond PLC are the guys that run Dover’s Cargo Terminal.
I have been commissioned to create film and photo footage of the work they do. It is fascinating and this is some of the work produced so far.

A Spar Day

Happy New Year and welcome back if this is your first visit of 2012.

I for one am really looking forward to a year when we’re going to step it up a gear and add film and video to the list of services that can be provided by James Heming Photography. As a potential client, this is such an exciting time for you. You can now get both your stills and your video from one place. More and more customers in advertising and corporate areas are requesting this. And it makes perfect sense to have the person you trust dealing in both areas and saves you a considerable amount of your budget. We already have a number of projects in the pipeline both big and small so if you would like to hear what we could do for you,
please do get in touch.

Here is a short promotional video commissioned recently to help win this fantastic store an award. Instead of just submitting the entry form and a few photos, Spar had the vision to make it come alive with a film story of what they do.

A 21st Celebration at Whitstable Castle

How cool is this? The idea was to turn Whitstable Castle into the Tower of Terror with all the guests dressed up suitably. However the star of the night, the Birthday boy himself wanted decadence, style and well, Hugh Heffner status. The brief was to capture the arrival as VIP guests piled out of the Hummer and create a paparazzi frenzy. Once inside, in true Hollywood style, guests were papped on the red carpet.

Congratualtions to all of you. An amazing amount of work went into this and I hope you enjoy the photos for years to come.
Scrolling……down?
